Malaysian Government launches "ICS" (Immigration Security Clearance) System for General Workers
PUTRA JAYA, MALAYSIA, March, 2016 — The Government of Malaysia has launched "ICS" (Immigration Security Clearance) System for ALL general category workers who wish to travel to Malaysia. According to the system, All applicants have to get clearance from nearest ISC Centers BEFORE they start making arrangements to seek job in Malaysia.
ISC means ‘IMMIGRATION SECURITY CLEARANCE’ which is the first and the mandatory biometric security check that must be carried out by every foreign worker candidates who intend to work in Malaysia. The candidate may visit nearest ISC Centers (www.isc.care) to get the security clearance.
The information on whether the foreign worker candidate is eligible to enter Malaysia will also help reduce unnecessary expenditure by the foreign worker candidates on further medical checks and by the employers, on the visa levy fee, for workers that are ineligible to enter Malaysia.
Rehiring Programme started for illegal worker, valid until May 15, 2016
PUTRA JAYA, MALAYSIA, February, 2016 — The Immigration Department of Malaysia has started "Rehiring Programme" to legalize the illegal workers, same as 6P Programme. This programme is valid until 15th of May, 2016. However we advise you to register as soon as possible to ensure sufficient time in the event the documentation is not complete.
MYXpats Centre commenced operation from July, 2015
PUTRA JAYA, MALAYSIA, July, 2015 — The Malaysia Expatriate Talent Service Centre (MYXpats Centre) processes and issues all Employment Pass and related documents for expatriates wanting to work in Malaysia.
Once a company is registered and approved by the ESD system, it can submit applications for the Employment Pass and related-passes.
Once the application for an Expatriate Pass has been submitted, MYXpats Centre will evaluate expatriates for their suitability for jobs. The approval process will take five working days, as per the Client Charter of the ESD.
